The Center for High Performance Manufacturing (CHPM) works to discover new and innovative ways to help manufacturers with their operations challenges. We do this through manufacturing research and technical assistance.


Our Mission:

To help manufacturing firms become high-performance manufacturers through research and the development of tools and technologies.

Our Goal:

To support the ISE Department's land grant mission of outreach by coordinating:

  • Effective Senior Design Projects
  • Faculty Consulting & Research Projects
  • Training, Workforce Development, and Continuing Education Engagments

The Center acts as a portal through which many inquires are received and actions taken pertaining to manufacturing research and development.
