Add graduate students (advisees)
1. On Elements Homepage, click ADD NEW (circled yellow below) under the Teaching activities category.
2. Select Graduate student supervision on the Add a new teaching activity window.
3. Fill out at least the following fields under Essential Information:
- Student name
- Supervisory role: select Committee Chair, Committee Co-chair, or Committee member
- Co-supervisors: do not enter other committee members
- Degree or program of study
- Degree subject: Industrial and Systems Engineering
- Thesis title (if applicable)
- Start date
- End date (i.e., expected graduation date)
- (optional) Sutdent achievement/recognition: e.g., Prelim completed in 2017
4. Scroll down the page and click SAVE button. The student information will be generated to Section TWO, I. Teaching and Advising Effectiveness, D. Academic, Career and/or Research Advising Responsibilities, 2. Graduaet Students on an eFAR (below).
