Joseph H. Wilck IV

Joe Wilck is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville). He received his PhD in IE from Pennsylvania State University in 2008 specializing in operations research under the advisement of Professor Tom Cavalier. Previously, he worked under Professors Russell Meller and Kimberly Ellis at Virginia Tech. During his time in graduate school, Dr. Wilck received the Spanco, Inc. Honor Scholarship from the Material Handling Industry of America for his work in material handling and vehicle routing.

Dr. Wilck's research focuses on applying industrial engineering and operations research to solve problems from various industries and services. Currently, he is exploring effective vehicle routing when energy prices are volatile.
