Marty Muscatello
Marty Muscatello is the past president and CEO of Foxguard Solutions, which he sold in October 2019. He is also an owner of Qualtrax Inc. — a compliance software company. Both companies grew from the original holding company, CCS Inc.
He joined CCS Inc. in 2003 as president, and served in the position until 2005 when he was named president and chief executive officer. Since joining the company, Muscatello has led CCS in significant growth, tripling company revenues and the employee base.
During his time at CCS, the company has been named to CRN’s List of Top 50 System Builders for three consecutive years, included on the 2013 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, and named one of the best places to work by the Blue Ridge Business Journal. He also completed the Virginia Economic Development VALET Program to assist CCS in growing its international business.
Prior to joining CCS Inc., he was the general manager for Rohm and Haas — a global pioneer developing technologies and solutions for the specialty materials industry. He was also the director of manufacturing for 20 years at Litton Poly-Scientific, which is a manufacturer of rotary motion and control products with related capabilities in fiber optics and avionics instruments and displays.
Muscatello has been extremely active in forming the Roanoke-Blacksburg Innovation Network to promote the New River Valley region for growth.
He received bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as his M.B.A.
