Dylan Burnette is a super senior in ISE, set to graduate this May. He is a member of Alpha Pi Mu, and serves as the Recruitment Committee Head for ISE Ambassadors. He also serves as the Regional Conference Chair for IISE, organizing trips to an annual conference. Suffice it to say, Dylan has contributed a lot to recruiting and fostering a community for ISE!
Dylan has worked for Michelin, Spectrum Brands, and PepsiCo throughout his undergraduate career. All his jobs have been in the realm of manufacturing operations and continuous improvement. Part of his experience includes building applications to help cross-functional teams use data to better make decisions, for cases such as improving machine availability to preventing workplace injuries. Dylan will be working full-time as a manufacturing engineer for Altec in Roanoke, VA after graduating.
Dylan is excited to recently win the technical paper competition at the IISE regional conference at NC State, and to present his work at the upcoming national conference in Orlando.
