(February 16, 2017) Dr. G. Don Taylor, Charles O. Gordon Professor in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, will become VT’s first Vice Provost for Learning Systems Innovation and Effectiveness upon the completion of his role as Interim Dean of the College of Engineering in July 2017.
Dr. Taylor was the head of the ISE Department for 12 years before he was appointed to the interim dean position in 2016. He will remain as a faculty member in ISE and will continue to teach ISE 5024 Graduate Seminar, which is a required course for all ISE graduate students in order to get to know the ISE faculty and their specialized research areas.
