(April 24, 2015)  Mohammad Jalali, a Ph.D. candidate in the ISE Department, received the first place of 2015 Student Excellence Award by the INFORMS Washington DC Chapter (WINFORMS).  On April 21st, finalists for the award presented their work to the WINFORMS audience.  Mohammad’s presentation was titled, “A Simulation-Optimization Method for Quantitative Aggregation of Prior Statistical Findings - Case Study: Aggregation of 27 Predictive Models for Basal Metabolic Rate.”
