Students in ISE at Virginia Tech are national leaders! Our student-led professional organizations regularly win regional and national awards for their technical work, their organizational and management skills and for their leadership in the profession. ISE at Virginia Tech's breadth of discipline coverage is supported by the active leadership of virtually all of the major professional societies affiliated with industrial and systems engineering. Collectively, these students attend conferences, host socials, bring in distinguished speakers, visit companies, perform community and university service and simply, experience professional and personal development and have a lot of fun.
